Specsavers store director Judith Ball said: “Ballywillan Drama Group is known throughout Coleraine and its surrounding areas for its fantastic sell out productions. “Hairspray” was amazing last year and we really wanted to support the company as it raises its game even higher this year with Legally Blonde. “ This is the first time we have sponsored a theatrical production and we’re looking forward to partnering Brian Logan and the cast as they prepare for this exciting sixteen night run in the Riverside Theatre in January and February next year”.

Richard Mairs, the sponsorship co-ordinator for the group said: “ We at Ballywillan are absolutely delighted to have such a powerful high street brand associated with the group, without the help and support from the likes of Specsavers these productions would not happen.

“Within the group we endeavour to put on the most professional show we can and it is the vital sponsorship from our business partners which allows us to go over and beyond the usual Amateur production

“We look forward to cementing our relationship with Specsavers over the next few years”
