Hard-Fi & Ed Sheeran set for One Cool Weekend

INDIE rockers Hard-Fi and chart favourite Ed Sheeran have just been added to the line-up for One Cool Weekend!

Both acts will perform on day two of the weekend music extravaganza, which runs over Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7 in Newcastle, County Down.

They join a string of top music acts already confirmed for the concert including The Feeling, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Wonderland, Frankmusik, The Reason 4 (X-Factor), A.J, Colenso Parade, Relish, Microlip and many more.

Hard-Fi are the English four-piece famed for singles like ‘Hard To Beat’, ‘Cash Machine’, and ‘Living For The Weekend’.

Their albums include Stars of CCTV, Once Upon A Time In The West, and their forthcoming third studio album; Killer Sounds. Their brand new single ‘Good For Nothing’ was released at the end of June.

English singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran is currently enjoying huge success with his hit single ‘The A Team’.

The track has been in the Top 10 for four weeks running and has become one of the most requested songs on Cool FM.

Sheeran is currently one of the busiest artists in the UK, performing over 20 gigs this month alone.

Northern Ireland fans have the opportunity to see him up close and personal at One Cool Weekend in August.

Hard-Fi and Ed Sheeran join The Feeling, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Wonderland and many more acts at One Cool Weekend as part of Down Distri ct Council’s Festival of Flight.

Last year’s Festival of Flight attracted over 100,000 people to the seaside resort and another full programme of activities is confirmed for this year, including an air show by the Red Arrows at 1.30pm on Saturday, August 6.
