When Red Hot Chili Peppers take to the Croke Park stage next year it will be 20 years since they made their Irish concert debut with a performance at the SFX Dublin on March 7, 1992.

It began an unrivalled love affair between the band and Irish concert fans.

In 2003 they returned to play a headline concert in front of a capacity 80,000 fans at the legendary concert venue of Slane Castle.

Then in 2004 the band made Irish concert history when they played to the biggest ever audience in Irish music history at the Phoenix Park, Dublin in front of a staggering 110,00 fans!
