McGee’s offer quality, variety, convenience and value to their growing number of customers each week. Operating within ASDA stores throughout Northern Ireland, McGee’s are committed to having a strong local presence in each town, offering our customers a wide selection of products that range from the traditional cuts of beef to products with a variety of spices and flavours from around the world.

Through our close relationship and working in partnership with Hewitt Meats in Loughgall, we are able to offer our customers the highest quality of beef in the market.

Hewitt’s, a local family run business, have invested heavily in their premises to support McGee’s. Hewitt’s opened a new purpose built chill in June which is used for McGee’s to hang the beef and allow it to mature on the bone for up to 14 days which ensures succulence, tenderness and flavour.

Further maturation takes place before the product arrives in stores, the 21 day and 28 day matured sirloin steaks are mouthwatering.

While the quality of the product is central to McGee’s mission, equally important is the quality of the service. McGee’s believe the service they provide in store is unrivalled within the industry and this can only be maintained through ongoing investment in the development of their people. Many employees attend Butchery Apprenticeship courses, Product Knowledge and Cookery Training, as well as Customer Service training to ensure that they are fully equipped to meet the needs and requirements of every customer.

McGee’s have recently become involved with the famous “World Host” customer service standard and are working towards being the first butchers in Northern Ireland to have every employee qualified to this world renowned standard in customer service...watch this space!
