A glowing report for Portglenone Primary

PORTGLENONE Primary School has been given a ringing endorsement of its work from the Education and Training Inspectorate.

The Cullybackey Road school recently received the report of their inspection carried out in October and the principal and staff are delighted at the findings of the report.

The quality of education provided by the school and the children’s behaviour are both praised in the report which also highlights the quality of the children’s achievements and standards.

On the school management front, the report found that- provision for learning and quality of leadership was good.

Pastoral care arrangements were significantly praised and there were further plaudits for the attention whch the school gives to promoting healthy eating and physical activity.

In conclusion, the report noted that the school has many important strengths in most of its educational and pastoral provision.

Headmaster, Mr. Robin McClintock praised staff, parents, pupils for their commitment to the school.
