Bicycle Shack fully support National Bike Week 2012. We think its a great opportunity to build the profile of cycling and attract more people to the sport.

With the stresses and strains of modern day life we are finding more and more people turning to cycling as a leisure pursuit.

As part of National Bike Week, Bicycle Shack is offering a free 5-point check on all children’s bikes from June 16-24. We are also offering a free child’s helmet with every bike purchased on the return of our advert on this page.

With the current economic climate and households’ budgets being tight we have found people are dropping their existing bikes in for service and repairs, with others opting to trade-in their old bikes to save cash on a new one.

We are seeing more and more people in-store take advantage of schemes such as Bike2work and Cyclescheme to make sizeable savings on their new bike as an increasing number of people are choosing to leave their car behind, saving on fuel costs and doing their bit for the environment.
