All Mid and East Antrim schools are being invited to create an A1 Christmas Recycling Poster with the winning poster being displayed at their local Household Recycling Centre (HRC).

Pupils are being asked to colour in a ‘Santa Recycles!’ Christmas template poster, which will be provided to schools.

All they have to do is print out an A4 copy for each of their pupils and they can colour in with crayons, markers, felt-tips pens, colouring pencils or paint.

Teachers will then pick five top posters from the school and drop them off to the local HRC in a poly pocket.

The winning school in each of the three town areas, Ballymena, Larne and Carrickfergus, will have their poster displayed at their local HRC throughout December to include the Christmas Season.

The remaining posters could be displayed in schools throughout December to illustrate the pupil’s hard work and effort in acknowledging recycling.
