With only a few days left to vote, the competition is ramping up for this prestigious title.

Voting closes at midnight on Sunday (October 14), so now is the time to support the bookshop that holds a special place in your heart by casting your vote at www.bordgaisenergybookclub.ie The Bord Gáis Energy Bookshop of the Year award was introduced last year to recognise and support bookshops who contribute so much to local communities and the Irish book industry.

Vote now and be in with the chance to win one of two prizes of €500 of electricity from Bord Gáis Energy, a €500 holiday voucher and many other prizes!

Five bookshops across Ulster, Munster, Connacht, Leinster and greater Dublin, will make the shortlist which will be announced on Thursday, October 25.

The overall winner will be revealed at the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards ceremony in the RDS on November 22.
