Tullyglass date for country star Lisa

It’s all systems go for Lisa McHugh just now. The popular singer and her band are set to appear at the Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena this Saturday to launch an enhanced series of dances at this popular venue.

In recent weeks, Lisa has been cementing her popularity by playing at a number of top venues where her new stage show has been winning rave reviews.

Having taken delivery of two further awards just recently, things could not be going for the better for the vivacious songstress.

“We are being kept very busy and indeed it is difficult to find time to make it into the recording studios,” Lisa said.

She added: “We have tours coming up in England and Scotland and this means we are continually on the road.”

On the occasion of her last visit to the Tullyglass Hotel, Lisa attracted a huge crowd and the expectation is that it will be a case of same again on Saturday night.

Indeed, Lisa has firmly established herself as one of the top-performing country singers in Ulster and has established a special affinity with Tullyglass dancers.

“We know quite a few of the regulars there and they are always very welcoming. That greatly encourages us and we plan to put on a special show,” Lisa added.

The Tullyglass House Hotel is offering a very attractive deal on Saturday night as a six-course carvery meal and admission to the dance will cost only £20 with dance only £12.

The top dance shows will continue on Saturday, August 16 Dwhen erek Ryan and his band will be on stage hoping to replicate the success of their visit to the venue earlier this year when they attracted a huge crowd to the spacious ballroom.

And there will also be a VIP welcome for Mike Denver and his band when they perform there on August 23.

Mike is lapping up the success of his new release “Tommy K” which is proving a massive hit in the ballrooms given its infectious dancing beat.

Naturally, it will be the highlight of his show in the Tullyglass and he can expect a huge reception there as indeed can the ever-popular Declan Nerney when he takes the stage on August 30.

Declan is looking forward with particular relish to returning to the Tullyglass.

Ballymena as a town boasts a great entertainment and dancing pedigree and it’s terrific to see the Tullyglass putting on the style again,” says Declan.
