Appeal for crime information

Police in Foyle are appealing for information in relation to the following incidents.

A pizza place on Sackville Street was burgled sometime between 1am and 10am on January 27. Damage was caused to the metal shutter and a window and cash taken from the till.

Tippex was used to graffiti gable walls in the Bonds Place and Ebrington Street areas last week. The incident was reported to police on January 25.

A man was headbutted and then punched in the face while walking along Bonds Hill around 11.30pm on January 24. The culprit is described as being approximately 5’9” and of a stocky build with a shaved tight haircut. He was wearing a black hooded top, grey scarf, blue jeans, and white Nike trainers.

Police are investigating several reports of egg and stone throwing in the Fern Park area – incidents reports on January 11 and 16. It is believed a small group of youths are involved.

Police are investigating a collision involving a male pedestrian and a car in the area of Lettershandoney Avenue around 3.30am on January 29. The driver failed to stop and the man was treated in hospital for a suspected broken leg.
