Arrested for drink driving offences
Police arrested a 27 year old man on the Larne Road, Ballymena in the early hours of Friday morning on suspicion of drink-driving.
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The officers searched the man following his arrest and found a small amount of cannabis, leading to a further arrest for possession of a class B drug.
“A further search of his home address in Coleraine was then completed, turning up six cannabis plants.
“The man was keep overnight in custody and is due to be further questioned today.”
