Ballymoney Nursery School launch website

ON Saturday Ballymoney Nursery School enjoyed a very successful Open Morning which permitted prospective parents and pupils an opportunity to meet the staff and experience first hand the stimulating, happy and friendly environment where the staff, children and parents learn from and support each other.

The staff at the Nursery School place particular emphasis on developing strong links between home and school which they feel is vital in ensuring every child attending gains maximum benefit.

Principal Mrs Martina Martin said: “We pride ourselves on working in close partnership with the parents of the children attending and it was the importance of maintaining and developing this relationship that inspired the establishment of a school website.”

According to Mrs Martin there are an increasing number of children enrolled with both parents working and thus not regularly in the school. Through accessing the website parents can keep abreast of information regarding ongoing news and events in addition to enjoying photographs of their children involved in various activities throughout the school day.
