Basic First Aid course held at Coleraine College

Would you know what to do if your child suddenly choked?

A group of parents and friends were given the opportunity to learn new skills when faced with an emergency by taking part in a basic First Aid Training session held in Coleraine College on Wednesday 6 March. Participants were invited from all schools involved with the Coleraine Education Community Project who arranged this training with Bisp trainers.

The morning was spent learning about a range of aspects from what to include in your First Aid kit at home to how to deliver CPR if needed. This is an accredited course so all who completed will receive a certificate.

Lorna Gough Education Community Development worker with CECP would like to thank all who attended and commend Janice from Bisp who delivered the training. This and many other classes are made possible through support from NEELB and funding from the DSD.
