This will be an evening of celebration with readings from group members, music, light refreshments and chat. Entry to this extravaganza is free and books will be on sale at the modest price of £5. These would make ideal christmas presents without breaking the bank.

A book is a living gift that gives pleasure over and over again and when the writers are local this adds an extra dimension.

The writers’ group has been in existence since 1996, meeting in Ballymoney Town Hall every Monday night. It is a friendly and supportive place for people to come and share their work, get feedback and encouragement to develop their skills. There is a special poignancy to this latest anthology as it is dedicated to one of the founding members, Priscilla Hargy, who, sadly, passed away last year. She was a staunch and highly active supporter of the group and its work and her contribution is acknowledged along with a piece of her writing as a tribute.

This launch will be the highlight of a very busy year and all group members are hoping for support from the community to make it a memorable evening of live entertainment.
