Boss aims to get Reds back on track

LARNE manager Paul Millar remained philosophical as his team’s run of superb results came to an end on Saturday to a Banbridge Town side which had only three wins in 15 previous league matches.

“Sometimes a defeat brings you down to earth. Perhaps we were a bit cocky going down to mid-Ulster after a seven-match run that had yielded six wins and a draw,” said Millar.

The Inver Reds now face another testing match in Ladbrokes.com Championship 1 against Loughgall who they recently defeated in the quarter-final of the WKD Core Intermediate Cup.

“Hopefully, we will have learned something about ourselves from the Banbridge Town disappointment and will have a new spring in our step,” added Millar.
