While Ahoghill YFC continues to charge on through the new programme, members set off to RaceView Go- Karting for a night on the track with everyone’s competitive side coming out.

Over 40 members enjoyed the night of adrenaline fuelled racing, taking part in races and challenges. The following meeting was a night in for a role reversal meeting which consisted of the girls changing a wheel, fixing a puncture, making a cattle halter and re-wiring a plug while the boys took a turn at decorating buns, making napkins and sewing on buttons as well as learning how to set a table properly. Everyone had a good night learning plenty of very useful skills which may come in very handy in the future.

As plans progress towards summer, fundraising events such as BBQ and sports night are all planned – in the meantime Ahoghill YFC is holding a fundraising Chinese buffet evening on Tuesday, March 26, at 7.30pm at the Happy Villa in Galgorm. Everyone welcome past, present, friends and supporters of the club. For tickets contact Stuart 07743680658 or 077151815065.
