Cannabis plants found in Coleraine home
Police arrested a 27 year old man on the Larne Road, Ballymena in the early hours of Friday morning on suspicion of drink-driving.
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The officers searched the man following his arrest and found a small amount of cannabis, leading to a further arrest for possession of a class B drug.
“A further search of his home address in Coleraine was then completed, turning up six cannabis plants.
“The man was kept overnight in custody and is due to be further questioned.”
