Charged with handling stolen goods

A number of people are to appear in court later today on charges connected to the burglary of a school in Antrim earlier this month.

Police have charged four men aged 29, 31, 35 and 41 and one female aged 38 with handling stolen goods.

It is understood that some of the property recovered was taken during the burglary on February 3.

They are set to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court today.

The 41-year-old man is also charged with permitting no insurance and the 35-year-old man has also been charged with driving with no insurance.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
