Church raises almost £3,000 for building fund
The Whitehead Methodist Craft and Arts Fair has raised £2,900 for the Church’s Building Fund. The event, held from May 1 to 3, was attended by over 700 people.
On sale and on display were arts and crafts produced by members of the Whitehead Methodist Craft Group and local artists. Craft Group member Carol Magowan commented: “The Whitehead Methodist Church is delighted to be able to show off the artistic skills of local artists and crafts people.”
Whitehead Methodist Church has raised almost £120,000 towards their Building Fund to extend the church’s premises.
