Cookstown cafe has front window smashed in over night attack

A Cookstown cafe has had its front window smashed in an over night incident in the town.

Two police officers could be seen visiting the Granary on James Street this morning, after the crime was reported.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police received a report this morning, Thursday, 9 July of a window having been broken at commercial premises in the James Street area of Cookstown.

“Police would appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact Police at Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
