Could you spot a scammer?

Ballymena people are being given the chance to learn how to best protect themselves from financial fraudsters at an event in the town on Friday.

Ulster Bank, in collaboration with local Trading Standards and Policing & Community Safety Partnership officers, will be hosting a public information morning at its Ballymena branch on March 18 between 10am-1pm.

Everyone is welcome to drop in and speak to members of the team at Ulster Bank as well as local Trading Standards Officers and Policing & Community Safety Partnership to learn some useful tips on how to keep safe and secure, both online and in person. No advance registration is required.

Branch Manager, Melanie McAllister and her team will be answering questions and talking to people about the best ways of protecting themselves, their friends and relatives when it comes to fraud and known scams local to Ballymena. Free leaflets on how to avoid financial fraud will also be available.
