Council to write to Roads Service

A NUMBER of councillors have registered their annoyance at the amount of roadworks around the borough during this key tourist period.

“We have roadworks on the Sandelford Bridge, the Dunhill Road and we’re down to one lane on the main road to Limavady,” said Cllr William King.

“This is all happening right in the middle of the tourist season and is causing a lot of disruption. I propose we write to the Roads Service and ask them to speed up the work.”

The proposal was back by the rest of the councillors at last Tuesday’s council meeting.
