“Council officers have visited the site and a team has been tasked with its removal. Anyone wishing to arrange collection of bulky items can do so via the booking service on our website.”

Macedon Sinn Fein representative, Cllr Taylor McGrann, raised the issue with the council.

Speaking to the Times, Cllr McGrann said: “I would urge anyone involved in fly-tipping to stop immediately and contact the council for any bulky collections as they are reopened for service.

“I have spoken to the owner of the site and council and hope to see it cleared immediately.”
