Thirty six local dancers will perform a 60 minute show entitled ‘Back to Bregan’ which will include dancers of all ages, and a band of six musicians under the musical direction of Nick Hawryliw of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
Dominic told The Times: “This is the biggest outdoor show the school has ever produced in its long and illustrious history of performing, with a crowd of 40,000 people expected to watch this one off show.”
There’s no rest for the talented dancers, when they return to Northern Ireland next week they’re straight into rehearsals for their show ‘Duo’ at the Riverside Theatre, which will be on stage in September.

“This year however will be a first, when the newly formed and highly successful DGS mammies will be performing as part of the show.
“Each year the mums are used to sitting proudly in the audience of assisting backstage but this year they are going to get their own much deserved taste of the limelight” said Dominic.”
The Coleraine Times featured ‘the mammys’ recently, and we can tell you that they are indeed a very talented bunch. They take their dancing seriously and no there’s no doubt that they will enhance this stage show!
