Electrical goods stolen
THIEVES smashed their way into a house in New Mossley sometime over the weekend and made off with a number of expensive electrical items.
According to police, the house at Manse Way was broken into sometime between 6.30pm on Friday (March 26) and 2am the following day. Items stolen from the property included a Sharp 47 inch LCD TV, a silver Macbook laptop, a black PS3 console with games, a black Sony A200 digital camera and a black ipod touch.
Meanwhile, sometime between 2pm and 5.30pm on Saturday (March 27) the garage of a house on the Hydepark Road, Mallusk was rammed and a number of items were taken. They included a power washer, a child’s Yamaha motorbike and a number of power tools.
Officers investigating both incidents have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Newtownabbey Station on 0845 600 8000.
