Fratelli winner Mary Jo is Milan bound

It's arrividerci Belfast, and ciao Milan for one lucky Fratelli diner who's won a break in the fashion capital with the Italian food favourites.

Mary Jo Mulholland (19) from Toomebridge was dining with family in the Belfast restaurant and entered the competition.

The trip for two was part of Fratelli’s plans to celebrate the National Day of Italy on June 2.

The competition, which took place across both the Galgorm-based Fratelli and its sister restaurant on Belfast’s Great Victoria Street, was open to anyone who ate in either of the restaurants from May 30 until June 5, and was supported by Aer Lingus and STA Travel.

Mary Jo, who is a childcare practitioner, was delighted to win the prize, and plans to take mum Terry along with her.

“We love Fratelli food so to win this competition after enjoying the lovely food was a big bonus for us!. I can’t wait to head to Milan, and sample all the fashion and art, and or course the food,” Mary Jo said.
