Friends’ artwork goes on display at Henry Court

YEAR 9 Pupils at Friends’ School are making a difference by donating their artwork to Henry Court Sheltered Housing in Moira.

Recently Roisin Crozier, Housing Officer from Alpha Housing Association and Joan Finlayson Scheme Manager from Henry Court visited Friends’ to meet with the young artists.

The girls presented six pastel drawings which will go on permanent display to be enjoyed by the tenants.

Ms Paula McPoland, Teacher of Art and Design at Friends’ commented: “Our Year 9 girls are delighted that their artwork will be enjoyed by the staff, tenants and visitors of Henry Court. They are beautiful oil pastel studies and I am pleased that they will be enjoyed by the wider community.”
