Graves not hitby bigots: PSNI
The PSNI says there's no evidence 20 headstones damaged in the city cemetery last week were targeted for sectarian reasons.
The graves were attacked between the evening of Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1.
But the PSNI suggested wanton vandals rather than bigots were responsible.
“There is no evidence to suggest that only headstones bearing the inscription Londonderry rather than Derry were targeted,” a spokesperson said.
