Happy Hampers!

This has all been made possible by the generosity of the pupils in approximately 30 Primary and Post-Primary schools in the Ballymena Area who brought in non-perishable essential and even luxury Christmas food over the last three weeks.

Rotarians collected these items, brought them to St Louis Grammar School on Friday 17 for sorting and packing of individual hampers.

Statutory and voluntary agencies (St Vincent de Paul and Salvation Army) provided the names of the deserving recipients. Hopefully all these people will have their hampers before Christmas.

Rotary also wishes to thank Ashgrove Furniture (Liam Dempsey). Moy Park and Sainsbury’s bakery unit without whose generosity this would not have been possible.
