Harvest service

FINVOY YFC will be holding a Harvest Service on Sunday 21st October in Finvoy Presbyterian Church Hall at 7:30pm. Everyone welcome. Tea will follow the service.

Car boot

ON Saturday, October 27th in the Parish Centre car park, Queen Street Ballymoney there will be a car boot sale in aid of raising Parish funds.

Setting up begins at 8am and the admission of cars and vans costs £5.

75th Service

On Sunday 21st October at 4 pm, Dalriada School and its Community will gather at St. James’s Church Ballymoney for a thanksgiving service for it’s 75 years on St. James’s Road.

All former pupils, their parents and anyone who has a connection with the school over the years are invited to join us.

Also later in the month a special evening of Drama and Nostalgia takes place in the school on Thursday 25th October at 7.30 pm. The evening will see an updated presentation of the Dalriada Pageant first performed in 1937 and other excerpts from stage productions from 1950 to date. THE area service of the Mothers’ Union will take place at Drumtullagh Parish Church at 7.30 p.m.

Table quiz

A table quiz is to be held at Ballycastle Golf Club on Friday, October 19.

Organisers are Ramoan and Culfeightrin church and parishioners are encouraged to come along for the 7.30 p.m. start and bring a friend.

Tea party

CANCER Research is holding an afternoon tea party in Boyle’s Café on October 19.

Support for this worthy cause is encouraged.

Organist gift

THE organist at Billy Parish Church, Peter Kane, has been presented with a gift after chalking-up ten years as organist.

Peter was praised for his commitment to the church.

New calendars

NEW calendars are now available from Billy parish church.

Photographs are published for every month and the calendars are available from the church or from members of the Select Vestry at a cost of £5.

Black bio pens are also available at £1.

Meanwhile, parishioners are encouraged to fill in shoe boxes which will be sent to Eastern Europe for Christmas.

Wrapped boxes should be returned by Sunday, October 28.
