House ransacked - jewellery and cash stolen

Police are appealing for information after burglars ransacked a house in the Rowan Gardens area of Ballymena.

Chief Inspector McCauley said: “It was reported that between the hours of 12.30pm and 4pm on Friday, November 18, entry was gained to a residential premises in Rowan Gardens. The premises was ransacked resulting a sum of money and a variety of jewellery items being stolen.

“According to a neighbour, at around 1pm there was a red car, unknown to the area, parked opposite the house that was burgled.

“We are appealing to anyone that may have any information regarding this incident to contact Ballymena Reactive and Organised Crime Branch on the non-emergency number 101.

People making contact about this issue should quote reference 851 on 18/11/16.

“Alternatively if someone would prefer to give information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
