Hugely popular ‘War Years’ exhibition returns to the Braid

THE POPULAR ‘War Years Remembered Exhibition’ is returning to Ballymena from March 5 to April 13 and is bigger than ever.

The exhibition will be appearing at the Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid and is a unique home front and military display covering The Second World War and the local impact it had.

History buffs and novices alike will be able to learn about the life of a soldier as well as handle military hardware from the period.

This year the exhibition returns with new displays and new items on show for the first time.

While on Saturday, April 7 a special Easter War Time event will take place as visitors will experience the sights and sounds of Wartime Ballymena.

Listen and dance to wartime music with ‘Dance Unlimited’ and ‘Living Vintage Company’ will host a 1940s fashion show.

Incredibly admission is free for this fantastic event, which always attracts lots of local interest.
