Kells & Connor WI
PRESIDENT of Kells & Connor WI, Rosemary McAllister, welcomed members and guests to the agm and especially Joan Arnold, who acted as chairperson for the evening, and tellers Heather Buchanan and Yvonne Howie.
After reports the Attendance and Competition awards were presented to Eleanor Worthington (1st), Sally Harper (2nd) and Ruby McSeveney (3rd). Voting complete, the new committee was annnounced as: Carol Adams, Elizabeth Brown, Jill Crockard, Lynne Francey, Sharon Graham, Sally Harper, Rosemary McAllister, Elsie McIlveen, Marie Mewha, Anna Murphy, Maria Wilson and Eleanor Worthington.
Rosemary McAllister was then elected as President and Marjorie McDowell thanked the out-going committee. A new member Lorna Foster was then proposed.
Margaret Erwin gave a report on a visit to Carnlough WI and the magazine winner was announced as Margaret McKay.
