Larne police probe town tunnel assault
Police in Larne are appealing for information after a young person was assaulted at Riverdale.
At around 7pm on Friday, September 28, it was reported that a female juvenile was assaulted by an unknown male near the tunnel that runs between the car park and Church Road. It is not believed that the victim was seriously injured.
Anyone witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the assault or who has any information regarding the incident is asked to contact police in Larne on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
