Latest: Pedestrian dies after being struck by red Mercedes in Cookstown on Monday night
A man has died after being struck by a red Mercedes on the Lissan Road in Cookstown shortly before midnight last night [Monday].
Police have said he was a pedestrian and that the road remains closed to traffic this morning.
Inspector Robert McGowan is appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who can help the investigation to come forward. The number to call is 101.
