Lidl robbers escape empty-handed
Two men escaped empty-handed after an attempted armed robbery at Lidl on Highfield Road.
The incident happened around 5.15pm on Monday.
According to police, both men had their heads covered and one had a knife. The man with the knife stood by the door while the second demanded money from a till. They made off on foot.
