Life-line team to praise God in Ballykeel

The team headed up by Life-Line founder Wesley also included Niall, Ruth and Janna Greer, Trevor Cahoon, Joyce Anderson, Samuel McKeown and Raymond Gardner.

During their time in Kenya the team ministered in various ways to the spiritual and practical needs of the churches and surrounding communities.

Trevor said: “It was great to see everyone come together as one in the name of Jesus to serve God and to see the work of Life-Line Ministries first hand!
“What a privilege it was to dedicate two Life-Line Churches and to be able to join with the congregations in praising God for His financial provision to build the churches.”

Pastors and leaders seminars were held in both churches and God blessed the teaching of His Word. Many testified of being challenged and changed through the sessions as Raymond and Joyce shared. Meetings were also held in the other Life-Line Churches and in Narok, ministering to the Maasaii tribes joining with People for Jesus Ministry. 
“It was just amazing to praise God with the church members as they moved into the market places to have Gospel Crusades. These took place in Maili-Saba, Rabuor and Nyakach with Niall and Wesley preaching the Gospel and many were touched as Trevor testified. God moved mightily in every crusade with lives being surrendered to the Lord!”
What a time of blessing the team had ministering to the children in the six Life-Line Nursery Schools.

“When we arrived in the first area we were so touched with the heartfelt welcome they gave to us and we were so full of joy to see the children’s happiness with the songs, puppet and memory verses,” said Ruth.

The children received so much from the Bible Clubs with many giving their lives to Jesus and were so excited at the Sports Days as they had never experienced this before! All of the teaching staff were also motivated and encouraged by Ruth and her team throughout their time together. “It was the very best of the best!” stated one teacher. 
They also had the wonderful opportunity to be able to distribute several thousand St. John’s Gospels donated by Every Home Crusade in Northern Ireland.
Several tribes received these gladly including Maasai, Luo and Teso.The team pray that they will be used to draw many to Christ. 
Many sponsors and friends from here sent gifts and donations to the Life-Line family in Kenya including footwear, clothing, toys, teaching material and personal items. These were distributed and gratefully received.

Bedding and mattresses were also purchased to give to needy families bringing them much joy.
Also because of generous donations Samuel and the men had the joy of constructing two classrooms for a Life-Line Nursery School in Raguma. This was a much needed building as it has over 130 children in attendance.
Further donations have prepared the floor for cementing and equipped the classrooms with blackboards. 
Members of the Life-Line ministry give thanks to God for all He did on the trip and they all agreed with Niall when he said: “It was a memorable time in Kenya this year. The people we visited, the places we went to and the things we did are to be treasured for a life-time. Thank you to everyone who contributed to make it possible.” 
An update on the trip and the work of Life-Line Ministry in Kenya will be given at the Praise Night on Friday, September 28, in Ballykeel Pentecosta lChurch in Ballykeel II at 7.30pm when guest singer will be Iris Evans and Wesley Kerr will share the Word.
