Lisnagarvey High bids farewell to retiring staff

Mrs Mary Dougherty retired having served as Head of the Girls PE Department since the school became co-educational in 1997. Previously she had taught PE in Parkhall High in Antrim and Friends’ School Lisburn.

Mrs Margaret McMullan worked as a secretary in the school for over 20 years.

At the function to mark their retirements Headmaster Jim Sheerin paid tribute to the outstanding contribution that both had made to the life of the school and wished each of them a long and happy retirement.
