Local business networking group celebrates first anniversary

IT was a morning of merriment today at the Ross Park Hotel last week as local businesses came together to celebrate the local 4Networking (4N) group’s first birthday.

Much cake was consumed as well as the usual cooked breakfast, and businesses were able to meet, learn and be inspired by each other in true 4N style.

4Networking, the UK’s largest social business networking organisation, with over 54,000 members is a business networking group with difference.

Sara Otley, Regional group leader, said: “Every meeting uniquely provides three one-to-one 10 minute appointments between members so they can meet, like, know and trust each other. These are the basic principles of doing business the 4N way.

“This approach to business networking encourages businesses to help each other and share bestpractice, as opposed to going against each other, which is a breath of fresh air in these hard times.”

Businesses in attendance ranged from financial advisors to solicitors right through to acupuncturists.

Members have found the group at Ballymena a great way to build business contacts and have seen the benefits of 4Networking.

Elaine Drennan, of The Online Connection in Maghera, said: “My business www.theonlineconnection.co.uk is all about helping businesses to increase their sales and profits by connecting with their target market online - whether that is by providing them with a website or delivering Social Media Training.

“4Networking has been invaluable in allowing myself and the businesses I work with to strengthen these business relationships offline in a relaxed and unstuffy setting.”

The group at Ballymena, one of over 310 groups across the UK is always keen to see new faces and welcomes local businesses to go along to the next meeting to experience the benefits of 4Networking.

The next group is on Tuesday, April 3 at 7am. More information can be found at www.4networking.biz/Events/Group/Ballymena
