Londonderry women welcome children’s commissioner

Ms Lewsley-Mooney was speaking at an Inspirational Women’s Event organised by FWIN and held in the Holywell building on Bishop Street.

Following the talk from Ms Lewsley-Mooney the women participating took part in a tour of the Anne Frank Exhibition currently on display in the Holywell Building.

Ms Lewsley-Mooney said: “I welcome the opportunity to speak to a number of women from throughout Derry, of all ages.

“I was delighted to hear them addressing issues such as poverty, intergenerational opportunities, disability, education and youth provision.”

Catherine Cooke, Co-ordinator of FWIN, added: “This was another excellent event and we were delighted to be able to welcome Patricia Lewsley-Mooney to FWIN.”
