The court heard that at 9.10pm on August 24 last year Fullerton broke the glass in the front door of The Wine Company in Portadown.

He then grabbed the injured party and attempted to punch him.

A barrister representing Fullerton said that since this incident he had suffered a heart attack and gone through a triple by-pass.

He said he was now not taking alcohol or drugs and was a changed man.

Sentencing in the case had been deferred from a previous court because Fullerton was in breach of his licence for an arson offence.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said during the deferment the defendant had to comply with his licence and not come to the attention of the police which he did.
