Man gave his brother’s name

Kyle Samuel McGaffin (36), Orchard Park, Portadown, was fined £100 last Wednesday at Craigavon ourt for indecent behaviour on May 2.

He was also fined £100 for obstructing police.

The court heard that around 9.50pm McGaffin was seen urinating against a wall in Malcolm Road, Lurgan.

There was a band parade going on and the defendant, who was extremely intoxicated, gave his brother’s name and was told he would be contacted when he was sober.

Later McGaffin admitted that he had given his brother’s details and apologised to police for ‘leading you up the garden path’ adding ‘I was drunk’.
