Man tied to bed
It was the second violent incident in the Muldonagh Road area of the village in the space of a month, following a gun attack on a house on the same road in the early hours of March 7.
Police have confirmed that the incidents did not occur at the same property.

Hide AdDetectives in Londonderry are now appealing for information following the attempted armed robbery.
Shortly before 9pm on Thursday, 24 March, four masked men called to a house and gained entry.
The male householder returned home and was confronted by the males who demanded money. The householder was tied to a bed and assaulted before the males made off empty handed in a silver Ford Mondeo car.
It is believed that two of the males had firearms in their possession.

Hide AdA female and two children (six year old boy and seven year old girl) were also present in the house.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the men entering or leaving the house or has information in relation to the silver Mondeo car to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
