Mephedrone 'changed personality' of boy

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy's personality has been completely changed by mephedrone use.

That was the message from the child's mother who spoke to the 'MAIL' this week about her son's addiction.

She told the 'MAIL': "It's addictive. Our son has been using it for a long time, the evidence is staring you in the face. One day he came in and it was still sitting on his tongue.

"It has affected his personality, a lot of the boys are more violent. He's angry and agitated, I see a change in his personality. Anyone who knows him knows he was a happy-go-lucky wee boy."

She said drug dealers were bringing mephedrone to children in the town and its use was rife among youngsters in the area.
