The DUP Assemblyman had voiced his concern some weeks ago in the wake of multiple reports of incidents involving scramblers at ecos and nearby Ballykeel.

Mr Frew pointed out that while the problem had eased at ecos after the PSNI deployed resources there, he said “the disruption has raised its head again on unused NEELB land in the Ballykeel area”.

He said: “It is unacceptable behaviour and those living in the area should not be forced to deal with it.”
