‘My car wash is totally clean’
THE owner of a local car wash business has strenously denied claims made by Newtownabbey councillors that he employs illegal migrant workers.
The allegations were made at Monday night’s council meeting (August 13) when a retrospective planning application was granted to change the former Ballyearl petrol station on the Doagh Road into a car wash. Councillors claimed the applicant and owner of the Euro Hand Car Wash, Fatos Cufaj, employed illegal workers - a suggestion he vehemently denies.
