Now rated ‘good’ by inspectors, a follow-up report from April 2016, concluded that “Naíscoil na Speiríní has demonstrated the capacity to identify and bring about improvement in the interest of all the learners”.

It also said the ETI will continue to monitor how it sustains its development.

The original report pinpointed a number of areas for improvement, including a review of daily organisation to more effectively meet the needs of children and provide them with more opportunities for independent learning and purposeful free play.

They also wanted to see more planning, observation and assessment.

A new leader was appointed in 2015, and the post-inspection plans were of a good quality said ETI.
