New opening hours for local libraries

Many libraries across Northern Ireland will be operating new patterns of opening hours from Monday 2 November.

In May of this year, the Libraries NI Board agreed the policy for library opening hours and the new total weekly hours were then announced to customers.

Customers across the network of 98 public libraries were then consulted, at a local level, to identify and agree the most suitable pattern of opening hours for each library.

The consultation has now been completed and the new weekly timetables are as follows:

BALLYCASTLE LIBRARY:

Monday 10am-1pm and 2-5pm

Tuesday 10am -1pm 2 - 5pm

Wednesday 10am -2pm

Thursday 1-8pm

Friday 10am - 1pm 2 - 5pm

Saturday 10am - 1pm 2 - 5pm

BALLYMONEY LIBRARY:

Monday 10am - 5pm

Tuesday 2-8pm

Wednesday 10am - 5pm

Thursday 10am - 5pm

Friday 10am - 5pm

Saturday 10am - 4pm

CUSHENDALL LIBRARY:

Monday Closed

Tuesday 2-8pm

Wednesday Closed

Thursday 10am - 1pm 2-5pm

Friday Closed

Saturday 10am - 1pm 2-5pm
