Northern Lights shine at Ballygally
Larne man Paul Evans captured the spectacular colours of the Aurora Borealis on Monday, October 8, when out with his camera on the Coast Road at Ballygally.
The Northern Lights happen when incoming solar radiation hits the earth’s upper atmosphere and excites atoms to a new energy state, emitting colours which is energy in the form of light.
