Alderman’s response is just amazing

He talks about retaining this major event and the number of visitors it will attract to the city.

How many people does it attract to Lisburn? If they are not local I’d take a pretty good guess they’re not staying in Lisburn if they’re attending this ball.

He is absolutely right to say the charity does great work for some of the most vulnerable people in the community. Surely there could be no better reason for the councillors to put their hands in their own pockets to support it.
